Product Availability
Our web site is regularly updated. However, we cannot guarantee availability. Orders placed outside our open hours (9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. UK time) may be subject to change. We will contact you as soon as possible if this is the case. If you place an especially high-value order, we reserve the right to contact you for further confirmation of your order details, prior to authorisation.
Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including:

- Maestro
- Delta
All credit and debit card transactions on this website are processed using secure online payment systems provided by PROTX - the UK's largest independent Payment Service Provider.
If you prefer you may also pay via PAYPAL. This can be selected during the checkout process
We also accept payment by cheque; made payable to Midhurst Pets, cheques require a minimum of 5 working days clearance time before goods are dispatched. Cash, Bankers Draft and Building Society cheques are also acceptable and are not subject to a clearance time. Only send cash by Special Delivery in a strong envelope after seeking advice from the Post Office. Please phone us if you would like to pay by this means.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Returns and Cancellation
When you buy goods through petshop2u you have the same rights as when purchasing from a regular shop or showroom. In addition, you are entitled to a seven working-day 'cooling off' period, as described in the 'distance selling' section of the government website http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and if for any reason you are not happy please return it within 7 days and we will exchange, replace or refund it at your request - subject to the following conditions:
- The goods must be returned with all accessories, packaging, instructions, etc and must be in unused condition.
- A proof of purchase must be supplied.
- You must return any free gifts that came with the product.
- We will not refund any items that have been specially made to your individual specification or personalised.
- You must also report any damaged or missing packages to the carrier at the time of receipt.
If the product is faulty or incorrect we will pay for any return costs.
If the product is what you ordered and you have simply changed your mind or you wish to exchange an item it is your responsibility to pay for the return of the item(s). We will also deduct the original carriage charges from your refund. Replacement items will incur carriage costs. If you received Free Delivery we will deduct the true cost of the delivery from your refund. This can be upto £7.95 per parcel.
We refund carriage costs only if the return is a result of our error or the product is faulty. Please do not return goods without first contacting us. Wherever possible, we will respond to your individual circumstances. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service when returning your item(s) back to us, as we are not liable for any loss or damage whilst in transit
We regret that we cannot accept cancellations for food items or perishable goods unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not the item ordered once they have been signed for.
If a fault occurs within 28 days of delivery, we will always offer you an exchange, replacement or refund.
To arrange for return of your goods please contact us either by email info@petshop2u.co.uk or by telephone 01730 810888 between 9.00am-5.00pm Mon-Sat.
You must take reasonable care of the goods in your possession pending their return to Pet Shop2u. Please ensure goods are suitably packed.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Your Email address
We collect the email addresses of those who contact us. We do not sell, rent or loan customer email addresses to any other party. We may send occasional notices relating to our products or services. If you do not wish to receive these notices, please advise us by email to info@petshop2u.co.uk or telephone 01730 810888. If you wish to advise us of a change of email address, please also contact us using the above email or telephone.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text that your web browser stores on your computer when you visit some sites. Pet Shop 2 U uses some cookies that make it easier for you to use our site. For example, we may use a Cookie to retrieve your shopping cart contents on a return visit. Specifications are obtained from the manufacturers and cannot be guaranteed accurate. Product descriptions are for guidance only. Errors and Omissions excepted. Certain products with options on colour may from time to time be substituted for an alternative option without any prior notice. We will always do our best to supply your choice of colour but we must stress that this is only optional and can in no way be guaranteed.
We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, at any point prior to dispatch, for whatever reason. You will be promptly informed if such a situation arises.
